Celebrate With Us
We can’t wait to enjoy this special day with everyone!
St. Louis has so many wonderful neighborhoods, here are a few we recommend for brunch or dinner!
DeMunn holds a special place in our hearts since it was our first neighborhood ♥️ Great spot for grabbing an early dinner and enjoying the evening. Check out Louie’s for amazing pasta dinner or share some flatbreads and small plates at Sasha’s Wine Bar. Afterwards, grab some ice cream at Clementine’s (Lucy’s favorite treat!) and relax in the park.
In the heart of St Louis City, is the beautiful, historic neighborhood Lafayette Square. Here there’s no shortage of great brunch or dinner spots! Check out Squire’s, Polite Society, and Square One Brewery & Distillery for dinner or brunch. For an after dinner treat, head over to Bailey’s Chocolate Bar for dessert cocktail or enjoy a stroll around the neighborhood. There are a bunch of cute shops and homes.
If you’re looking to stay close to the hotel, the Central West End has plenty of great dining options. Our favorites are Yellowbelly and Brasserie. Yellowbelly cuisine is inspired by the chef’s Hawaiian background. If you can’t find a spot, walk around the corner to their sister bar Lazy Tiger (easier to snag a last minute spot). Brasserie has a great patio and yummy French food; D’Ann recommends their pound cake. If you’re looking for something a little more casual, head up Euclid; you can stop by Brennan’s where Nick and I met for our first date and celebrated after our engagement! They make a wonderful Manhattan—meets McIntosh standards. Further up Euclid you can walk around the art galleries and wine bars; or if you’re looking for a different vibe, Up/Down is a fun arcade bar. Or walk up to Vicia and enjoy new American cuisine from an award winning chef.
Close to St. Louis University’s campus, the Foundry opened just a couple years ago. While it’s not a neighborhood, it’s got a bunch of great spots to offer—a great food hall full of different yummy spots, a Put Shack, and bunch of cute boutiques including a favorite of Maddie’s May’s Place, where you’ll find a bunch of cool vintage pieces!
Another favorite spot of ours is the Grove. Grab a sandwich at Gramophone and enjoy some live music or grab burgers and beers at our favorite brewery Rockwell. Grace Meat + Three has an amazing fried chicken and waffles. Another favorite brewery of ours in the area is Urban Chestnut. If you’re feeling hip and cool (Nick’s words), head over to Nixta, iNDO, and Union Loafers. All amazing restaurants!
If happen to take a drive around, definitely stop by Ted Drewes on Chippewa and order the McGraw (oreo and heath bar).
